pianola records

The name "Pianola Records" is derived from the self-playing instrument known as the "pianola" and was also used as the DJ name of the owner, Kunitomo. Having been exposed to a wide range of music genres thanks to his family, Kunitomo went on to work at Disk Union and HMV before establishing his own store through connections with music friends. In addition to creating rich musical experiences for the local community through record fairs and live performances, he also runs his own label, working to reissue overlooked recordings and promote works by contemporary cutting-edge artists, thereby supporting music culture from multiple angles.
