Exposed to music from a young age, FloFilz grew up in Germany and Belgium before moving to Berlin in 2020. He studied the violin / classical music from 2009-2016 and started producing jazzy instrumental hip-hop in 2012, while also playing in orchestras. In addition to his parents, who are both musicians, he cites Hip-Hop icons A Tribe Called Quest, J Dilla and Madlib as key influences.
Recognised as one of Germany’s most in-demand producers, the self-taught bedroom beatmaker has built his reputation around Europe and the world led by his seductive blend of Jazz, Soul and Hip-Hop and influenced grooves.
Taking great inspiration from London's Jazz scene he has released multiple albums and previously collaborated with the likes of MF DOOM, Alfa Mist, Kan Sano, HNNY, Rob Araujo, Blue Lab Beats, Jerome Thomas and others.
