- Could you share the thoughts and ideas behind this mix?
Since the recording wasn't done in front of an audience, I focused on playing records that I personally find enjoyable, mainly new releases, to keep things fresh.

- Can you tell us about your approach to creating mixes?
While I'm not particularly known for playing upbeat tracks in live settings, for this mix, I placed a stronger emphasis on the listening experience.

- What methods do you prefer when searching for new music? Do you still enjoy browsing for music in record stores, or have you come to prefer online purchases?
New releases sell out quickly if you're not following them online, so I reserve records online and then listen to them in-store when I pick them up. Also, when I visit places I don't usually go, I take extra time to dig through both new and used records.

- Besides DJing, what stimulates your creativity?
Comedy shows (more skit-based, but also talk shows). I find that the way comedians structure their skits and timing is very similar to how DJs approach their sets.

- Do you have any advice for those looking to start a career as a DJ?
If you're interested in DJing, don't overthink it—just start! Once you do, listen to a variety of music in different settings.

- What plans do you have for 2024?
My schedule is almost fully booked for the rest of the year, so I'll focus on each upcoming gig while planning ahead for the next year.
