Shame Records

Shame Records is a long-established record store located in Nishi-Shinjuku, Tokyo.

The owner, Mr. Hirano, has been coming here to buy records since he was a student in Nishi-Shinjuku, and has been in business since it opened in the 1980s. The record racks inherited from the previous tenant are said to be from the 1970s. The store is filled with old soul, funk, disco, and hip-hop records from the 1950s, with a focus on soul music, and it is truly a sight to behold.
