ReReRe no Record

Located in Kawagoe, Saitama, ReReRe no Record is a record shop, café, and bar that opened in 2016. The name carries both the playful reference to “ReReRe no Ojisan” and the idea of “Re” as in return and recycle, with the shop’s logo designed by owner Daisuke Kojima’s father. The store features secondhand records sourced from the local community alongside carefully selected new releases, creating a uniquely “strange” atmosphere that crosses genres. Beyond records, the shop regularly hosts live performances and DJ events, fostering a space where people of all ages—ranging from school children to those in their 70s—gather to discuss music, politics, and culture. With its offerings of curry, coffee, and drinks, ReReRe no Record has become a cultural salon rooted in the heart of Kawagoe.
