Tachibana, a beloved local record store in Aoba Ward, Kamoshida-cho, Yokohama, has been serving the community for decades. The store is run by Isao Yokoyama, the second-generation owner. The name "Tachibana" comes from the family crest and the original poultry shop "Tachibana" that his grandfather operated. Originally located in Rokkakubashi, Kanagawa Ward, the store moved to its current location 13 years ago and is celebrating its 63rd anniversary this year. Inside the store, you'll find a wide range of genres, including classical, jazz, and rock, with jazz being particularly popular. Cassette tapes also sell very well, attracting new customers almost daily. Tachibana actively participates in local music festivals and values its connection with the community.
