EL SUR RECORDS

 EL SUR RECORDS is a record store located near Yoyogi Park in Shibuya, Tokyo.

The owner, Takashi Harada, who used to work at Roppongi WAVE, opened the store 28 years ago (!), and it has been in Shibuya for many years. On their 15th anniversary, they were surrounded by many belly dancers to celebrate.... As the name of the store means "south" in Spanish, it has about 5,500 records, 18,000 CDs, and 300 cassettes from Latin, Brazil, Africa, other Asian countries, and Europe.
