- Could you share the thoughts and ideas behind this mix?
A few days ago, I hosted an event, and for this mix, I played mainly records I brought with me for that night—focusing on the ones that felt more laid-back and could be enjoyed outside of a club setting too.
- Can you tell us about your approach to creating mixes?
When I create a mix, I try to make it so that the listener can visualize a scene as they listen. While mixing, I think about things like, “It would be interesting if this sound came in here,” or “Playing this track here would make it feel like the story is moving forward in a certain way.”

- What methods do you prefer when searching for new music? Do you still enjoy browsing for music in record stores, or have you come to prefer online purchases?
I usually buy records at record stores. I really enjoy the atmosphere of those spaces, so I often visit them on my days off! I like listening to records with my own ears and picking out the ones that catch my interest.
- Besides DJing, what stimulates your creativity?
I usually work as a nail artist, so creating new designs and expressing myself through drawing are really important and inspiring parts of my daily life.

- Do you have any advice for those looking to start a career as a DJ?
I’m not really in a position to be giving advice, but I do think that going out to different places and listening to all kinds of music leads to new discoveries that can definitely influence your DJing. So my advice would be—just go out and have lots of fun!
- What plans do you have for 2025?
I’ve just started my own party called lorca, which I plan to host on an irregular basis. This year, I’ve been getting more chances to DJ at parties I usually go to just to enjoy, so I’d be really happy if you checked out my Instagram and other social media and came out to join us!
