- Could you share the thoughts and ideas behind this mix?
I wanted to share music that I love and introduce to others something they may have never heard before. Old and new, high energy, funky, disco, house that touches my roots and background as well as worldly sounds.
- Can you tell us about your approach to creating mixes?
I usually know which song I'm going to start and end my set with. That sets the tone for the journey to take place.

- What methods do you prefer when searching for new music? Do you still enjoy browsing for music in record stores, or have you come to prefer online purchases?
I go all over looking for music, bandcamp, spotify, youtube, soundcloud, record shops. There is nothing like searching for music in a shop…it’s like a treasure hunt every time and it brings me so much excitement.
- Besides DJing, what stimulates your creativity?
I have always loved art…i always say in a past life i wish i would have been a graffiti artist. Something about stickers, graffiti, wall art that motivates me. To exert my creativity I usually make beats. I also build custom lighting fixtures for LEDs. I’m good with my hands and I draw a little bit.

- Do you have any advice for those looking to start a career as a DJ?
Stay consistent…stay humble…you will never know it all and never stop learning.
- What plans do you have for 2025?
I’m heading to Miami during the Summer to open up for Carlos Wellington at Zey Zey’s. I plan on heading back to NYC and Cuba again as well. I’m working hard on my label ‘Soul Service’ with releases and parties and also finishing up my first vinyl EP release.
