QOA

QOA-a.k.a. Nina Corti- is a visual and sound artist and arts researcher based in Buenos Aires. Qoa is a Quechua word with multiple meanings which can be summarized as "that which transforms into something else". This also defines this artist, who explores the ability of sound to affect space and time, human and, especially, non-human and more-than-human worlds. QOA's music is released on different international labels and performs at important venues and festivals.
Together with new media artist Joaquina Salgado, they performed at Mutek Argentina, San Francisco -USA- and Japan. The recently founded label Studio 94 Records presented, last august, QOA's track Taiga in the compilation "A Better Place" that gathers producers and artists from all over the world.
