- Could you share the thoughts and ideas behind this mix?
On a personal note, my experiences in Osaka and Kyoto the weekend before the recording are reflected in this. It felt like writing a diary, which made it an interesting experience as I played.

- Can you tell us about your approach to creating mixes?
Creating mixes based on feedback from live sets often works well. I simultaneously review past sets and prepare for upcoming DJ gigs, incorporating ideas and track selections that naturally emerge during the process.

- What methods do you prefer when searching for new music? Do you still enjoy browsing for music in record stores, or have you come to prefer online purchases?
Since I work at Lighthouse Records, I’m constantly exposed to new music in my daily life. But beyond that, the way I discover music isn’t all that different from most people, and I enjoy both approaches. In a way, online digging feels more like training, while offline discoveries—whether by chance or through someone else’s recommendations—always feel fresh, no matter how much time passes. And in any situation, these two modes of discovery seamlessly flow back and forth.
- Besides DJing, what stimulates your creativity?
It depends on how you define "DJ activities," but I deeply resonated with the phrase I once came across: "EVERYTHING WE DO IS MUSIC."

- Do you have any advice for those looking to start a career as a DJ?
If we have the chance to meet in person, that would be different, but I don’t think I have anything in particular to say to a broad audience. Let’s talk at the shop or at a party instead!
- What plans do you have for 2025?
There’s always something going on, so I’d love it if you could check Instagram and stay updated!
